Revolade

Hi all had to come of Revolade because of hair loss and thinning. Of it just over a week, platelets down to 18, felt rough. Had my first injection of Romiplastim on Friday, no side effects so far. Any feed back from any one ? Felt great on Revolade just hair problem and aching hips.

Does anyone else get a really dry mouth and constantly clear their throat whilst taking Revolade. I am finding it really hard to get to sleep because of this. Can anyone advise what I can do to help with this.

I have been on Revolade for 2 weeks and today has been horrific. Heartburn pain all day and really sore even at the back of my mouth. Has anyone else had this. I take Omeprazole every morning and this has made no difference.

Hi I diagnosed with itp last July, platets count was 1had ivigs and platets infusion been up and down since then steroids keep my count up with revolade. Just would like my life back to normal.

My Revolade medicine (trombopoetin) was halted, still my platelets escalated to 419 (should be 50-100 on Revolade) I took daily shots of Fragmin to prevent clotting of blood. Blood work every morning at 04.00 to check platelets.....

I am now on revolade (eltrombopag) started with the higher dose which seen my platelets go sky high then came down to lower dose and my platelets have came down to 26. For anyone that is on this did it take you a while to find the right dose to suit you and to keep platelets at a good level. X

Is anyone taking revolade known as eltrombag Promacta Revolade Eltrombag

On Revolade 50mg for 21 days and Dapsone 100mg. Still platelets shows as 7K. How much time will medicines take to increase the count. What things I should avoid. Always worried for bleeding. Please suggest who are in similar situations. Thanks

The options are ether, Eltrombopag {Revolade Tablets} or Nplate {Romiplostim}. If you are or have tried either of these, I would be grateful if you would let me know what your experience is/was like. In particular I would like to know what the side-effects are/were. Thank you. Rafiq

I also understand that NPlate and Revolade are not covered through universal healthcare so that'll require me to make some arrangements (but I think I can handle that)

Despite this, we're currently trying Revolade / Promacta and I am at 130k after one week of 50mg/day dose and feeling great.

Has anyone had any experience with revolade taking more than 7-8 weeks to work or if it didn't work by now then most likely it wont in the future? thanks.

low platelet counts but that never stopped her from doing anything she was much active than most of the normal platelet count ppl but since last nov she is having blood stools later she is also diagonised with piles she became very very serious she was un ucu she was given IVIG, wysolone steriods, revolade

Has anyone here experienced a remission while taking eltrombopag (revolade, promacta). I was put on the drug a year ago after some very low platelet counts (single figures), My initial dose was 50mg a day and I responded very quickly with counts over 350 after 2 weeks.

Revolade / Eltrombopag 25 mg with Azran 50mg and Prednislone/Wyslone 5mg for the past 3 months and my Platelets level are stable around 100. Taking Eltrombopag 25mg at an interval of once in 3 days.

Revolade failed. Thrombomax injections failed.Dexamethazone failed. Pls advise what can i do? Platteletes count 11000. HB 7.6 and still falling. Spleen size 14 cm. In bone marrow report, Displasia clearly seen. Should i go to Rituxin (Rituximab). Plz help

My sister has been on Revolade for 2 months approx, my count goes up and down so much.

Other that what is in the patient leaflet, is there anything else I should know before starting Revolade? Many thanks and regards

So I was going to ask him if I could try revolade but there are two problems. One I have an enlarged heart and I am taking heart meds and two my insurance won’t cover it and it’s 2300 a month which is more than I make a month. Is it covered in the uk?

On Revolade now, thankfully . so far seems to be having an affect! Now the thing is - I was just starting a new job when this broke out! I need to move to the UK (London) for it. It's a really good job, I worked super hard to get it, and they do offer very good private health insurance.
