Money for BUPA members

Just found out I can claim on Bupa for not using them during my coma and dialysis treatment for 5 weeks. Under my policy I got £3k (£125 per night for max 24 nights). I was completely unaware of this until a former colleague told me it might be available, even my boss didn't know and my hr department didn't mention it!!

Hope it helps!!

Hi BBDEBS: I had a similar policy . The company eventually did pay out (£3000) but I had to fight to get it. The company tried hard to avoid payment. They wrote twice to the Consultant, and twice to my GP. It took a few weeks. I kept quoting their policy at them.

So if you have a similar experience, don't give up.

well done. Sounds like you had no difficulty. My health insurance company (A) was not so co-operative!

hope your recovery is going well
