I'm on a 3-week trial of clexane injections. I'm told that if it's going to work, the benefits are pretty rapid. How rapid? 3 days? A week? What?
Thanks!

Head was clearer, numbness in fingers etc eased, dizziness reduced etc
That's good though and if you convert to Warfarin, make sure that they allow you to raise your INR to a level that makes you feel reasonably symptom free, whcih for many APS patitents is between 3.5 & 4.0; some INR clinics seem to want to keep INR levels around 2.5, which, for many APS patients would not be high enough.
Best wishes.

I found that I felt so much better by day 2, headaches ceased and I felt more like my usual self. Took longer for the word finding and memory loss to improve but I notice that I have less occasions where I completely blank out than before. So pleased to hear that you are already feeling brighter.
For me significant improvement within twelve hours about two weeks to be fit to leave hospital having been on oxygen and immobile for about three months. Improvement continued for months. Great news that things are improving. When you switch to warfare make sure you stay on clexane til your INR is in your range. So you remain properly coagulated . All the best Ann
It works straight away and tends to last for twelve hours.
