Our 1st Staffordshre meeting! 28/04/12.

We had our 1st Staffordshire meeting!

We met at The Stanhope Arms as organized, unfortunetly quite a few people had texed or emailed me to say they can't make this one but could I let them know when the next one is, so that I shall do as I would love to see more faces next time

Even tho' there was only four of us (apart from my brother & his wife & one ladies hubby, her friend plus her lovely baby boy that joined us for a bit) we discused a lot, gave each other advice & information & it was really nice to chat to each other, mainly about Hughes & our stories, plus we had a good old 'chin wag' too! so I thought it went really well considering the number!

Plus food was nice! dessert was fab' (& free!) & the coffee was Costa....so what can I say!

Thank you ladies for coming to the meeting looking forward to the next one already!! it was lovely to meet you all there........see I'm not as scary as you thought was .... was I Julie??!!!

glad your meeting went well, are you scaring people again suzy. they know you are a witch rite ?? so Sheena far left , you 3rd from left ,but i cant see the chin wag ???? but then again i wouldnt know one if i saw one i guess ??the other two beautiful ladies , i dont recognise. but that could be my top notch memory.hope all is well with you all. ---------------------------- uncle benny

The lady on the left is Emma & the other is Julie, both great people & so glad to have met them

So glad you all met and could talk and visit. I wish we had that here. Once things calm down maybe I should try to start a group. Hmmm....first I need to find people..lol.

It is nice to meet up with others & chat....even about nothing to do with Hughes!

We all always seem to have sooo much in common! it makes you not feel so alone.

It was so great to get together and chat, lovely to meet more like us who understand, we had a good laugh fillin in the gaps in speech etc or just giggling when we made mistakes.

Costa coffe n good desserts yum!!!

Looking forward to 16 may in London then further staffordshire meet ups.

We really not that scary.

Nice to meet Julie n welcome a lady with nearly diagnosed fibro and lots of Aps symptoms.

No you weren't scary at all and thanks for organising the meeting. I had such a good time that I forgot to take my warfarin and am suffering now. It's the first time I've been off sick from work for sometime but INR has crashed and aching all over. Well I'll take it easy for the next couple of days and see how things go.

Sorry I can't be there on the 16th but have a good time.
