Hi, I notice on this paper, a test that is at times used, hope this is helpful: rthm.com/articles/long-covi...
if you have purple blotches on your skin, you may need blood work to check other thinks also. ( platelets, for example. )
Also we can have little spasms of the vessel walls- causes a non ANCA / PANCA vasculitis (as in inflammation of the vessel) - just a swelling of veins, any size. Clotting ( micro possible) can occur because this swelling can close off these vessels.
My APS doctors have been talking about this for a while- and only recently it’s been published.
It’s impossible to say - but it may not an easy answer. It also may be a few answers at once.

Kelly, your Dr sounds amazing. My Dr is a GP. Hematologists by me are not interested in APS, only CA. I get my blood drawn and get the results . It’s up to me to change doses or figure out what I have been doing differently. Amazingly, my gut, keeps me in check:). I have tried to find a good dr since 2007. It is sad how the medical field is driven by $.
