Hello I need help. I've been experiencing skin itchiness. It's been 4 months now. It comes every week, twice a week specifically. It is like a bite of a mosquito, little red dots on my arms and more on my legs. I have visited my allergy doctor, obgyne and a general doctor. They can't specify what's going on with me. My allergy only stops when i take my antihistamine medication, but it leaves brown mark on my skin. I have taken up laboratories, and it's all normal, except that my urine exam it says i have a lot of bacterias, but i have taken meds for that, and i guess its already okay now. Help me. What should I do? Can someone explain to me whats going on.

Hope to hear answers, to explain to me what's going on with me, and my skin. I will really appreciate your response. Thanks!

Godbless!

Hallo Nixespina,

Have they tested you for Hughes Syndrome (APS) also? This is a site for people with APS or symptoms of APS. If you have APS you need a Specialist as this illness is very rare and so few doctors know about it. It is a rheumatological illness and also a blood disorder.

We have too thick and sticky blood and our blood needs to be anticoagulated.

I have APS and also very tiny red dots on my lower legs but only on my legs. Petichias they are often called and they can be brownish when not so Active. So sorry I can not help you further. Hope you will find an answer.

Best wishes from Kerstin in Stockholm

Hello

As Kerstin has said, do you have a diagnosis of APS/Hughes Syndrome?

If you do, then who is managing your treatment, as you should be asking them about this matter.

If you don't have APS/Hughes Syndrome then this is the wrong forum for you.

oh i dont know APS, i have to search it up. I think i am in a wrong forum. i am new here. Im sorry. But I appreciate you answered my post. Thanks!

Autoimmune Disorders are in the same "family"...according to my Rheumatologist...

I have APS and Unspecified Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder....but an opportunity for my immune system to "overreact" appears to occur with rashes....ie Petichias if I get bitten by an insect and I scratch....or my a branch scratches me etc......a few times a year the itching is so severe I have been prescrbed a course of Prednisone.....I do not

treat APS nor UMCT with steroids.....rather Plaquenil and Aspirin 320mg to keep my

blood from getting 'sticky'

I recommend seeing a Rheumatologist and getting blood tests for several Autoimmune DIsorders.....and there is one test that is an "inflammation" indicator

Mayo CLinic (CLeveland Ohio) website has great general information

best of luck

My specialist told me that hives are a symptom of APS and so I should just take an antihistamine.. Works a treat!
