I have used Allianz for years with great experiences. You need to make sure you follow the criteria for insuring your trip. Get the policy that covers pre-existing conditions and get your insurance within, I believe, 10 days-2 weeks of making your first reservation .
I have used this site in the past without any issues: insuremytrip.com
I am insured by travel insurance uk with is through my bank.I pay £14 a month which includes insurance for phone and car breakdown.extra is when you declare your medical conditions. We are a couple and both have numerous conditions which add up to about £84 .cheapest insurance we have ever had
Emma snap I have the same condition amongst others I use a great broker who has experience of insurance for those of us suffering like this. Email is kathrynknowles@curainsurance.co.uk
Hope that helps. Tell her Paul K sent you 😄
No problem, can I ask if you don’t mind how your Cerebral APS affects you?
The last time I bought any it was through 'Freedom Insurance' MaryF
Got ours via Barclays Bank account. Pay £12 month and covers you for multiple trips per year. Not had to pay a premium for medical conditions declared either. You can also use it for other things like car breakdown etc.
How have you not had to pay a premium as I’m assuming you have APS?
yes. But the extra premium is paid to another company.
Hi
I have APS & a couple of other conditions too. I use InsureandGo and have found them to be good. I don’t think they’re the cheapest, and my current premium is c£180 pa. I have had a cerebral aneurysm coiled in the last 5 years too.
