Varicose Veins

I've developed varicose veins just below my knee on one leg. I've had some permanent bruising on the same leg that the consultant says not to worry about for several years. Do I need to be bothered about the bumpy veins, or should I get it checked out? They e been there a while, some are colourless, some are purple and they don't cause me pain.

Thanks

Unless they really worry you cosmetically-if it ain't broke don't try to fix it. Of course if you notice changes or pain get it checked out.

I think if I were you I would ask the opinion of your GP, who will definitely seen a lot of this sort of thing and can advise you. MaryF
