1 --stay hydrated. 2 -- use sunscreen and/orcover skin with sports grade clothing. 3-- wear a hat. 4-- Talk to your doc. Sun sensitivity can be a symptom of lupus, which is APS' cousin.

Sometimes also hives can be due to histamine intolerance, have you eaten anything new or foods likely to cause it, but I do agree with GinaD who also has some good reasons! MaryF

I used to get severe hives frequently. Doctors could not figure out why! Come to find out i was allergic to nuts! Since the hives didn't come out until about 8 hours after eating them, I didn't make the connection for years! Different nuts caused different severity of hives and rashes. Cashews were the worst for me due to urishol in the shells when they grow. Since I uncovered my allergy, I have now been hive-free for years!

Ty I seem to have trouble with the sun. Even in the car I have ended up at the hospital with emergency care with the blisters as big as tea cups.

No worries. But Ty.

You might ask your rheumatologist is there is a possibility of SCLE. I have this diagnosis and the sun causes similar reactions. ( just a thought, but we are all different.)

Many years ago I saw my doctor because of constantly breaking out in hives. It turned out that I have diabetes, but the first symptom was atypical! Another time previous to that I was breaking out in hives due to one bug bite and the stomach medication was acting as a histamine enhancer!

Hives can be so miserable. Every time I would get hot, I would be itching again.

Good luck.

For your thoughts.! We are all so interesting aren’t we? Never a dull moment.☔️ I was tested for diabetes and my gp insisted on an immun and nutrition consult. Mom was dying at the time and I never knew if she would still be there when I finished at the hospital. Long and short of it I decided what foods bothered me and was able to dodge that bullet. When I eliminated them -no worries

I did try the allergy route. I had to pay mucho cash 💰 and spend the afternoon but he then escaped to Arizona and I was never given the results. But due to anaphylaxis incidents I now have a collection of epi pens. As an adoptee I have not been able to obtain health history — and as such I think I mess with their differential diagnosis.

Have u ever noticed on you tube Dr Hughes’ referral picture ? I keep a pix of it on my phone to remind myself that as much as we hate all this - so do our providers We must exasperate them all !

Ty for the suggestions !👏
