Hy all 🙂 hope youre well. I have triple positive primary aps and ive had ischemias, tia’s, loss of balance and delirium episodes. I take warfarin (inr 2-3) & Stugeron to relax brain veins and artheries. I also have several lesions in my brain’s myelin. Is anyone here with triple positive Aps and neurological symptoms had the vaccine? Im about to schedule mine but im super scared to have a strong reaction or a worsening of my situation. :( anyone? Thank you 🙏♥️

Hiya, there are people on here similar to yourself, many have had vaccine successfully, but it is still a medical decision to be made between yourself and your specialist, can you talk it through with them? MaryF

Hi there,

I am primary APS, triple positive like you with also very high titres since several years. I also had TIAs and a lot of neurologcial symptoms before I was properly anticoagulated.

I asked my Hematologist and Rheumatologist if I should take the two shots. Now I am properly anticoagulated and have no more those neurological symptoms I used to have before Warfarin.

They both said I should take the shots and especially as I was anticoagulated with an INR of 4.0 I should not have any clots from the shots. They have mentioned clots in some very rare cases.

After having consulted my Specialists I had 2 Astra Zeneca. No more trouble than with the yearly vaccinations to the flu.

I am not a Doctor but I wonder if you have a Specialist of APS to consult as your therapeutic INR is very low (2.0 - 3.0) !

When triplepositive incl Lupus Anticoagulant and having APS we usually have higher therapeutic levels. I have an INR of 3.5 - 4.0.

Talk to a Specialist of APS before taking those shots.

I am triple positive. I’ve had the 2 Moderna vaccines. My specialist advised to have the shots and I am very glad to be fully vaccinated. I had a bad reaction to the second shot but it was only a few days and totally worth it.
