Blood test results

Hello,

On warfarin indefinitely for APLS/Hughes syndrome

I had some blood test results and I could do with some translation if anyone has the time please:

ALT = 81

LDL = 8

HBA1C = 51

My haematologist wrote to my GP to tell them they needed to see me. My GP promptly lost the letter and it was only found 3 weeks later when I chased. I now have a GP appointment in a couple of weeks' time. Do the above test results suggest that I should push to be seen sooner?

I believe LDL is to do with cholesterol and ALT your liver

Thanks for that. Just a bit frustrated by my GP's lackadaisical attitude meaning that a letter from my consultant disappeared until I chased it.

I know it is frustrating, I would be, but GP's are under immense pressure currently and less clerical support about, I hope you can ring up and have a telephone appointment to discuss your results and have some reassurance, keep well. MaryF
