Hi

As you know a post written under 'pinned posts' was carefully written regarding extra Thyroid testing and B12 testing and similar. I shop around for mine, sometimes I use Medichecks other times Blue Horizon or others. So when looking around, if you do decide to run your own private tests, if you see one on Blue Horizon, you can either on the phone or online apply the discount mentioned below.

It is good to shop around, for instance some tests are cheaper on Medichecks on a Thursday, however, there is a discount code which was given to me, which I can pass on to this forum which is MARY20 which gives you a twenty percent discount on any of those bigger tests. This is only for use with Blue Horizon.

Thanks, Mary.

Can you explain to me ( very briefly- I know you are in and out of headaches right now) why it is that if I ask my doctors to run an , “ extended panel, not the quick overview one” they do- but I’d does not have a reverse T3 to 4 - is that what you call it?

Is it called something else?

If you are on Thyroid meds, and in particular mono T4 synthetic therapy it is very important to do a Reverse T3. This does bump the price up so I do a RT3 every other time I test. At the moment I have great results. Keep well. MaryF

Ah, so it’s for those already on medication. This is why I’ve not heard of it - not had it ordered. Thanks for answering question.
