App for tracking daily intake of Vitamin K?

Does anyone know of an app that calculates your daily vitamin K? I know there are ones like Livestrong that you can track calories. Just curious. My INR was a little elevated so my hematologist told me to eat a big spinach salad. As I was eating dinner, I thought to myself, "woudn't it be great to have an app so I could be consistent with my daily greens?"

Hi Holley,

As the others have said earlier you need a higher INR than 2.5 where you had your stroke and later also a TIA when the INR too low.

I know you say you are Lupus Anticoagulant and can not have a selftesting unit.

I am also Lupus Anticoagulant (triplepositive with persistant high titres for over 10 years of time) and have had a CoaguChek XS like many of us as I have understood during the years on our site.

I understand that you have done a lot of doubletests as you say you can not trust the machine and perhaps you can not do bloodtests as often as those of us with LA need to do.

Now I wonder what sort of machine you had?

I can tell you I have today another machine as the CoaguChek XS gave exstremely great differences. Especially when my INR was high the differences were greater. There are other machines and in your case I think you should ask your Specialist (I hope you have got a Specialist in the US) to reconsider selftesting with another machine or use LMW Heparin shots. Obviosly you have too low INR today as to your stroke and TIA.

If you want more info you can message me.

I forgot to write back to you from my other post a few weeks back regarding my stroke. Been a hectic time of year. I'm a special education teacher and our school year ended yesterday.

I was at a 1.5 when I had my stroke. My range is 2.5-3.5. My primary care doc and hematologist want to keep me on the higher end of that range. I was doing LMW Heparin shots in addition to the warfarin until I was therapeutic again. I honestly can't recall which self-test machine I had. It was at the very beginning of this journey in 2006-07. I asked my hematologist about it when I saw him post stroke in May. He said it's not recommended for patients with LA. I see him again in two weeks and will ask about it again. He's the head of hematology at a very good hospital here in Washington DC. So just to confirm, you have a CoaguChek XS?

Cath Atkin and how to eat on Warfarin is very good, I heard her speak in London at an event and her website, book and app is very good, and yes she has Hughes Syndrome/APS.
