I am taking the generic version something must be up my wife found a article about the shortage and cvs wants me to pay over 600 dollars just going to stop taking it
Insurance definitely wants you to get the generic. That's what I take. Maybe that's why I'm not doing as well with it as I did with the brand name drug years ago.
I have to use cvs they supply the generic version to me I always received a two month supply and it only cost 60 dollars I just told them not to send anymore. I will check with my hematologist if I can use something else or just stop the generic brand all together
MY APOLOGIES.....spoke to CVS and researched online...you are correct....I hope
the manufacturers figure this out.....I have been doing great for 5 years....don't want
to discontinue Hydroxychloroquine nor do I want to be prescribed another
immunesuppressant.....hoping my prescription plan considers paying for Plaquenil
A major supplier of generic plaquinil was a pharmacy in India that was found to have health code violations. It is currently not making it, hence the difficulty in getting it. It is easier to get it through the local market rather than through the mail order pharmacy. I ended up getting mine through CVS
Hi, I am also on plaquenil but I don't find it helps with my dizziness at all. I take a drug called serc it's for vertigo and I find it's works really well.
