This is an interesting study regarding Plaquenil/hydroxycholoroquine & the connection between taking the drug and prevention of diabetes in Lupus patients.

You're welcome. There is a Lupus Support Group in New York City and the Director posted this on her facebook page. Unfortunately for us, but great for her, she's moving to California. She's a social worker and actively involved in all things Lupus.

It's true. The plaquenil does have some unpleasant side effects at times but how nice to know that it may prevent diabetes.
