Hi, Many people with Hughes Syndrome/APS end up with some sort of Thyroid problem. There is a narrow choice of treatment around, which does not work or everybody. A lot of us have allergies and can tolerate the more natural approach more than the synthetic. Hi Mary, I can not sign but I would like to ask you if you think that my Hyperparatyreodosis (I was operated in 2006) could have something to do with my APS? I have not found any connection myself. Thank you Mary
Hello, well Professor Hughes often himself alongside others write of the trio of disease, Hughes/APS, Thyroid and Sjogrens and many people do seem to have these problems, in other words another autoimmune problem coming along when you already have one diagnosis of another. MaryFx
Well, if you have one autoimmune disease it is not unusual to have another come along, a Thyroid problem was the final piece of the jigsaw for me with my five things! MaryF
