So many people appear to have thyroid problems mixed in with their autoimmune problems. Please take that small amount of time to sign these. Your signature on them will help, especially if you pass the petitions on to friends and family via email or facebook. Thanks.
The first one, anybody can sign, the second one, is a UK based on. Many thanks. Mary F x
Hi Mary, I have been meaning to ask you about this as you seem in a similar situation to me. My metabolism is slow, my body temperature is one degree below normal and I have tremendous problems with my weight. I also show symptoms of thyroid problems including thinning eyebrows and problems with pins and needles/carple tunnel syndrome not to mention aches and pains, neck problems, voice problems etc. BUT my test results are always negative. Prof Hughes put me on Liothyronine for a year to see if it helped but whilst I got effects from it the blood tests did not budge and I came off it as it was giving me palpitations. How did you get the thyroid problem diagnosed and how do you treat it???? I am seeing Prof Hughes later in September and it is on our list to discuss. Dx
