I'm using waferin at the moment 2 pills and there are some blood in my urine should I make it 1 and a half pills?

I think it would be a good idea to get it checked out ASAP. Maybe ring your doctor or if it is after hours ring your ER department.

Yes get checked, I had blood in urine and eventually ended up in an having an Addisonian crisis...you don't want that..!

Please, Don't waste time calling a Doctor. Get yourself to an A&E preferable by ambulance so that you are seen immediately . James H.

Agree with the others. Warfarin is a dangerous drug and any type of bleeding must be taken seriously.

Hi there, I have only just seen this, please take yourself to your nearest medical facility to have this checked out, also follow it up afterwards with whoever your consultant is beyond your GP. Let us know how it goes. Mary F x

Ditto. Go see, or talk, to a doc. Only lower your dose if you are in the wilderness middle of nowhere and can not visit or communicate with a doc.

DO NOT MESS WITH YOUR DOSE WITHOUT GETTING AUTHORISATION FROM YOUR DOC! Phone NHS direct or your emergency GP, the blood may not b necessarily anything 2 do with the warfarin & depending on WHY u take warfarin & how long u have been taking it 4, u shouldn't mess with your dose unless u absolutely know what u r doing.
