I am also building up to 400mg of Hydroxychloroquine I am on about 250mg at the mo and have to say i think its about time they started to make the stuff in lower doses as I have to take 50mg in oral suspension which is truely awful

I agree, INR is only affected by Warfarin and is a measure of the clotting time of your blood, when on that drug.

Hi don't forget that the anticoagulant acenocoumarol also has an affect on the clotting time of your blood, and if on this you should also have regular inr blood tests.
No reason just the only way/idea i had of building it up as it meant i could build it up without it having to much effect on me.
As Lynne has provided the above link, it says it all. Just another form of anticoagulant that is used to keep the blood thin enough, but more effective with a smaller dose every day.
