Newly Diagnosed
I went in for a
hernia
repair
last month and it turns out they did a biopsy whilst there and I have endometriosis which explains a lot of how I have been feeling for a long time now. Any tips, tricks or guides would be extremely helpful at the start of my journey.

Anyone have side effects from omenectomy?
My procedure, together with a
hernia
repair
, is in 3 weeks. I have to decide whether or not to have an omenectomy. Has anyone had omenectomy without lymph node removal? Have you had any side effects? I’m worried about lymphedema.

So update is that GP has referred me for the
hernia
repair
. Can anyone let me know if they have had experience of this please? And it’s success or otherwise? waiting time on NHS I can only imagine! And in the meantime upped dosage of esomeprazole Thanks as always for any response

Total hysterectomy with oopherectomy recovery advice needed please!
The last thing I want is the
hernia
repair
only to have to cut through that (there’ll be a mesh as well) to do a hysterectomy at a later date. My surgeon has given me the option to try hormone receptor blockers first.

pain eating after hiatus hernia repair.
hey everyone, I had surgery to
repair
a hiatus
hernia
I had in 2019. I’m grateful I have had no acid reflux since but I get this really bad pain in my left shoulder (kind of up inline with my armpit).

Hernia repair advice
My Oncologist referred me to a General Surgeon but he said it was a big operation to
repair
the
hernia
and he wouldn’t do it unless my Oncologist could guarantee no more chemo in the future, which of course he couldn’t. Reason being he said that chemo could weaken the abdominal wall again.

First run after hernia op
My
hernia
repair
took place on 27 September and I was discharged that evening - all went according to plan (apart from needing to have a catheter fitted temporarily - don't ask!). As you might expect, everything was a bit sore afterwards3, but that has gradually subsided.

Inguinal hernia repair problems
I had an inguinal hernia successfully repaired 18 years ago with mesh inserted. However, for the last year I've had really severe pain when approaching orgasm ~ I have no problem achieving erection (and am as horny as ever!), but once the passion starts to build I get a rapidly building, stabbing pain

I did post the letter before, but think it probably got lost amongst various conversations going on under my original post. 1st February 2019 This 67 year old lady had been awaiting elective
hernia

but has been declined by the anaesthetist for a second time due to an abnormal ECG with signigicent

HU10K - post-run thoughts
It's only my fifth 10k run (and my second after a
hernia
repair
back in February which put me out of action for a couple of weeks). As expected it was slow, but steady.

Family history of coronary heart disease
I had a bilateral
hernia
repair
in January and when I started exercising again in March I noticed slight chest pain when walking to my spinning class, which would ease off and not reappear even when doing hard exercise.

PD - Back in the Saddle again - A Valentines story
Then I was on the cycler for a week before stopping to have
hernia
repair
surgery. I then took an extended leave of absence from PD until that healed and until the holidays were totally over. That put me two weeks into January when I first hooked back up to the cycler.
