Hello All,I've been displaying many symptoms over the past 18 months that have all been dismissed by the GPs. I went in for a hernia repair last month and it turns out they did a biopsy whilst there and I have endometriosis which explains a lot of how I have been feeling for a long time now.
Any tips, tricks or guides would be extremely helpful at the start of my journey. I'm on a long waitlist to see the gynecologist so it would be a great help in the meantime!
Thanks all!

Depends what you have tried already for your symptoms. Your GP could prescribe hormone treatments such as the pill, or progesterone, if you have not tried that. They can also prescribe pain relief for you, as well as medication to help if you have heavy bleeding. Your GP can also refer you for an ultrasound scan, if you haven’t have one recently, though be aware endo may not show up on that, if the person doing it is not specially trained.
Definitely worth having a good chat to the GP about options, while you are waiting x
Just noticed your comment about your GPs not being helpful. If they are still not helpful I’d look into changing GP, it is so important to have supportive one while going through endo.
