hi all. just got diagnosed with IST - inappropriate sinus tachycardia and was wondering if anyone takes the beta blocker called Metoprolol? i just got prescribed “METOPROLOL SUCC ER 25 MG TAB TABLET EXTENDED RELEASE 24 HR“ how has it helped? have any of you had side effects? i’d really appreciate any info. thanks.

Hi, I've been taking metoprolol 25mg to help with my ectopics for about 3 months now. No side effects that I know of so far. Cant say how effective it is, as i started magnesium glycinate a little later, and am inclined to think that the mag glycinate is doing the trick. Hope this helps some, best of luck.
