Help .... Are there any alternatives to beta blockers for CPVT - I feel so sluggish and tired on them! Plus really gaining weight- any suggestions. I was active, reasonably fit and now just no energy whatsoever. 😢😢

Calcium channel blockers - like verapamil - not sure though. I’m the same - some days I can barely stay awake. They are awful. I find it helps to have regular exercise and ensuring you are hydrated

Which Beta Blocker are you on? Many people find Nebivolol has far fewer side effects than Bisoprolol for example.

I take Bisoprlol at the smallest dose but still no energy and very lethargic 😒😒

Which one are you on and how long have you been on them? I am on bisoprolol 5mg per day which was recently upped from 3.75, I felt like a zombie for a couple of weeks but it has since totally gone....

Bidoprolol - I just feel there has to be something else, yet I understand it’s important to be on a med. I just find the whole CPVT so disheartening. No one seems to know much about it at all !!!

Doctors give patients Vit B12 injections for thyroid problems and rhytoid problems can affect heart rhythm, so that all makes sense xx
