Keloid scar

Hi there after my pacemaker surgery in April my scar is irritating, tight and just almost feels like a burn. My doctor looked at it and said it would heal a bit better in time but I'm likely to always have these issues with this keloid scar. Anyone else putting up with this and have any advice? I'm going to try bio oil next I've tried E45.

Hi,

Just plenty of un- perfumed moisturiser worked a treat for me, all I can see is a very faint scar but obviously stands out more over the box! but def no problems with it.

Your Dr is right it should heal in time.!

Take care,

Wendi

Thanks for your reply Wendi I'm trying bio oil now and a cotton pad attached to my bra strap. I'm looking forward to getting this sorted as I feel so much better in myself the most energy I've had in years! I could climb a mountain 😜
