same here, I’m so tired all the time. My husband says to get some iron supplements so maybe I will.

You shouldn't take iron supplements without getting your levels tested first. I always thought women struggle to get enough iron, so supplements that contain iron should be fine. When I actually got levels tested, I was over range (despite not taking anything containing iron at that time). When your levels are too high, it can actually cause organ damage, so it's quite risky.

Symptoms of too much iron are the same as too little.

oh I didn’t know that, thank you

Medications maybe? 5 of my medicines make me tired and fatigued.

there's no one answer for why you might feel tired. You should ideally visit your doctor to rule out any health issues.

Eating a healthy, nutrient dense diet may help.

Iron deficient person here; it might be that. I go on iron tablets for about 3mo at at a time, get my bloods tested and then they say I'm fine, they leave me to it and eventually my levels drop again, rinse and repeat. I'm tired pretty much all the time no matter how much I sleep, and iron can definitely influence it. Saying that, looking at the quality and quantity of sleep can also help, since if you fall asleep at 10pm but wake up 7 times in the night or struggle to fall asleep for ages it can influence you massively, and maybe IDing why you're struggling to fall/stay asleep will do some favours. Using technology close to bedtime can make it hard to switch off, the ideal is that 2hrs before you sleep you stop using screens but we all know that's hard, so as close as might do you some favours too. Stress could be part of it too. There are a lot of factors, but your best bet is to eliminate them as you go if you can.

I have the same problem. My GP was very thorough, I’ve had blood tests, urine tests, X-rays, scans, just in case of anything serious. Turns out I have no diabetes, no vitamin deficiencies, no anaemia, in fact, luckily nothing serious. But because I had Covid right at the start of the pandemic, just before we went into lockdown in March 2020, he thinks it is probably Long Covid. Nothing to be done about it, just don’t overdo things and wait for it to go, hopefully 🤔
