Gluten Free Cheese Sandwich: Dinner/Mustard Day: 8-6-2022

For tonight’s dinner, I had a cheese sandwich with mustard and gluten free bread along with ice cream for dessert. This is to celebrate Mustard Day today.

I usually get the bread at the store close to my house and they have different types of gluten free bread.

Yes, cheese is usually one of my favorites for a lunch, but I wanted a cold dinner that adds mustard at the same time.😀👍

You found a gluten free bread you like? We tried several from supermarket. So very expensive and the bread slices are much smaller than regular bread.

A bakery had decent bread. High in price. Over 30 minutes away.

Many of the breads have an aftertaste. Well, I really should say an odd taste while eating the bread and an after taste .

There are a few types of gluten free bread that I’ve had and learned which is better than the other. It took some time, but I usually get one or two brands that won’t fall apart too easily.

Mustard Day! An essential condiment for me. Sometimes I dip my French fries in it. Always on a cheese sandwich 🥪, 🤫with a little Mayo. I like it to ooze out the sides of the bread. 😋

I have mustard with both cheese sandwiches and dipping homemade potato fries. Mustard has no carbs., so it’s a substitute for using ketchup for me on certain foods— chicken, burgers and/or hotdogs.😀👍

Thank you. There's 3 cheeses: Double Cheddar, Swiss and Muenster. The mustard holds everything on the bread. I usually put the Swiss in the middle because that has holes, and I don't want the mustard to drip out of the sandwich from the holes.

Remember when I was little eating a sandwich and the salad cream was dripping out and I was licking it off my hands my mum really told me off. Happy days

It looks great must get some mustard not the strong sort as its too much but I love the French mustard at sainsbury.Looks yum

Thank you. I use French's Mustard for the sandwiches unless we run out. It depends how many times a week we have cheese sandwiches and anything else that needs mustard added to it/them.
