I've been munching my way through home made cakes and cookies during the lockdown and thought it would be a nice change to have some savoury ones so I made these cheese muffins.
Here's the recipe: 225g gluten free self raising flour 160g butter 3 eggs 75g strong grated cheddar low salt bouillon dill then baked in a muffin tray @180 for 20mins.
They're slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside and make a very nice change from sweet cakes and go down well with a nice cuppa...I had mine sitting in the sun in the back garden so how good is that. ππ
Oh naughty, they look really nice! Would bake but who's gonna eat it all, no family here with me !!! Food for thoughts though Jerry, after lockdown π€

Ooh Jerry, I have just imagined biting into one of those. You sold them, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They sound and look absolutely yummy.

Not you Jerry, never, surely you wouldn't throw your cooking implements on the floor ππ
Could you help me out with the ingredient amounts? Not familiar with using grams, and what is low salt bullion dill? Or is it low salt bouillon, and fresh dill? what kind of bouillon? How much?
They look great Jerry! I made savoury flapjacks a couple of times using certified gluten free oat, I loved them, they were flavoured with cheese and fresh leek. My kids didn't like them though, so I'm going to make a batch of these muffins for my daughter, they'll be great for when she wants something easy to nibble on at all times of day or night!
