Hi everyone, this s what I made for dinner its quinoa with diced onion stir fry veg sautéed in a little olive oil before adding back beluga lentils which I seasoned with sweet chilli sauce yeast extract and turmeric and left it cook gently away.
Quinoa is a complete food making it a great choice for a meal accompaniment and it makes a nice change. And a nice easy wholesome meal which I enjoyed. 😊
Hi Leah and thank you as I really like a stir fry sometimes and know that quinoa is great for those of you who need to be careful with carbs because of your diabetes.
You’re welcome, Hidden ! Quinoa has a good amount of protein and also is low carb. for either a side dish or main meal. One type of food I like a lot to have now and then.😀👍👍
Well thanks Jerry, because I have a vacuum packed pouch of beluga lentils just awaiting a good recipe and I'm always looking for another good quinoa recipe too, so here's a great combination. It looks so tasty! 👍😊
