Dr. Berg’s benefits of sugar (refined sugar)…. In a nutshell, there is none.
Sugar. Table sugar comes from sugar cane. A plant. So it’s natural and possibly healthy.
But that sugar is mostly refined which means it goes through a process that strips it of it’s benefits and instead can prove unhealthy.

I made an attempt to read Pure White and Deadly, although I didn't get too far in, but it was interesting to hear about the difference refining the sugar had on its nutritional properties.
I would really love to see more products out there that don't contain sugar at all. It seems to crop up everywhere.
I would like to see more foods without sugar as well cos basically, some foods don’t even need the stuff.You can buy savoury processed foods (say microwave lasagna) and it contains sugar!
Now, if you made a home made lasagna (for instance) you don’t go putting sugar in it.
