This is what I had for lunch today. It was two gluten free waffles with crunchy peanut butter, fresh blueberries and a Greek yogurt. The total carbs. with the yogurt was: 84.
For dinner tonight, we decided to have last night’s quiche with salad, dressing, fake bacon bits, diet iced tea and Greek yogurt. The leftovers were really good and I have to say it was a tie between broccoli and spinach. The total carbs. were 54 for the meal.😀👍

Thank you, Koko. I really enjoyed the waffles with peanut butter and the blueberries. They went really well together for a side dish. The yogurt was good, too.😀👍
You’re welcome Leah! Always love your variety selections of yogurt.😋👍 So I guess you finished your leftovers now and tomorrow you will have to make new dish then. 😁
Thanks, Hidden ! Both meals were really great and my mom and I were talking about what we can try for the next quiche (flavor of rice). It's going to be very interesting to see what we can get for when the time comes.
The waffles were really good and crispy. I love using peanut butter on waffles. The blueberries also go well with the waffles. I have to go and see if we have another batch we can use for next week.

Hi Leah Jerry and all reading I've just discovered this new peanut butter with hint of marmite I had some on a digestive biscuit as didn't have any plain ones be nice on a healthy sugar free cracker I hope it's not classed as advertising sorry if is 🤗🙋
I may have peanut butter tomorrow for lunch with jelly/jam. 😀👍
Lunch looking good Leah and who doesn't just love opening the fridge to delicious leftovers for dinner, giving you something you know you'll enjoy because you ate some yesterday, and an extra hour or more because there's no food prep and cooking, and you can use to do something else that's fun!
That's exactly right, Sue. Eating leftovers helps make more time for other things to be done. Plus, if the leftovers are some of your favorite things, then that's even better!

Hi Sue Leah yes and I like left overs because I'm just lazy 😂🤗🙋
That's okay, Mandy. Sometimes, when it's hot out with the temps., I like being 'lazy' because I don't want to warm up the house more than it had been lately.
I just seem to be more engrossed in garden lately and can't be botherred in kitchen today did some DIY at mam's started thinking can't be botherred but once got on with it enjoyed converted a bookcase long story I like woodwork but thumbs bit of repetitive strain so I'm not as into it as was ok with rest and chamomile tea bag really eased joint pain, been adjusting some pavers on my grass that had sunk.in too my stepping stones, have a good day it's 7 here now oh no ☹️football my soaps not on 😁🤗🙋😸im having shop bought pitza when I get appetite with some spring onion garlic and mushrooms I chopped small to add for goodness I think.ill post my meals for the week once a week and just pop on to see your posts and any that stand out I don't want to get addicted again or too popular lol like before although not sure my meals will make me popular think.it was my pixie think.ill change my name to pixies mummy then he's not left out and maby he's allowed on if he's just looking at my plate 🤔I know we're not allowed to post off topic photos now 😸
I can’t wait to see your postings for your meals when you’re ready to post them.😀👍

I had leftover red and sweet potato hash with baked beans and leftover gammon from yesterday's roast dinner for breakfast today which saved cooking from scratch!
Does your children like thick peanut butter? Some brands have thick and thin types of peanut butter. I go with the thick and crunchy type of peanut butter personally. That's my favorite if we have it in the house.
Tonight's dinner here was meatballs in tomato sauce from the store cupboard along with red potato mash with red cabbage which we enjoyed!
