Hi everyone. Last night, I had beefless/meatless Sloppy Joe’s with a gluten free hamburger bun and a Lemon Meringue Greek yogurt. For a drink, I had some hot tea and water. The total amount of carbs. in the entire meal was 78. Everything was really delicious and I hope to have it, again soon.

Thank you, Clive. I really enjoyed it and it’s one of my favorite things to do for dinners.😀👍

What is a Sloppy Joe's Leah? I've never heard of it.

Sloppy Joe is a type of meal/food that can be cooked with or without real meat, sauce, buns, etc..

A classic sloppy joe is something quite like a dry bolognese, served on a bun.

Americans eat wet sandwiches, like sloppy joes, po boys and french dip. That sort of thing isn't as common elsewhere. I'm not sure how you eat them. With a knife and fork, I'd guess 🍽

Glad you enjoyed your dinner Activity2004

Thank you, Bob! I really appreciate you saying that about the Sloppy Joe. Made my day today.😀👍

Hey Leah I’ve never heard of these hamburgers so I’m glad that you enjoyed it as it bet it was really good especially with lemon meringue pie.

Great about the carbs too so nice one. 😊

Hi Hidden ,

Thank you for saying that. The beefless meat isn't in a burger/patty shape, but they can be turned into patties/burgers. The 'meat' is ground up and you can add the sauce and stir them both together on the oven's top to cook in a pan. A person can have either hamburger/hotdog buns for the bread so the 'meat' isn't on the plate on its own. I'll see if I can find a picture of a Sloppy Joe meal I had a few weeks ago. :-)

Did you use beans or lentils to make your sloppy joe ? Hope you enjoyed your meal.

The beefless meat is made with soy protein. The sauce is separate and also has no meat in it, as well. :-)

There are different variations of meatless sloppy joes, thanks for sharing yours. I avoid soy because it can interfere with thyroid hormones and hypothyroid meds.

Sounds good Leah and I can see you have a variety of Greek yogurt flavor now 😋. Have a wonderful day! 😊🙏☀️🌺

Thank you, Koko for saying this about the Sloppy Joe and Greek yogurt. Both of them had lots of protein combined together. Very good! :-)
