Healthy breakfast

Filled me up and gave me energy after an extended fast, did not significantly raise glucose or insulin, cooked in butter so high in natural fats and delicious. What more could you (well, me at least) want?

When I was in hospital I once dragged myself downstairs with all my clobber just for a cooked breakfast. The full monty. I had had NHS gluten free cardboard cornflakes for 5 weeks and I wanted FAT! I had 4 pieces of fried bread. I was so grateful that the hospital provided a cooked breakfast in their canteen. I had to pay alot for it but it was heaven!

There's nothing like a full English for a treat 👍😘

Absolutely. I like a good quality sausage though 😉. Not the mechanically reclaimed meat ones. And I'm not a fan of black pudding. But this picture has made me hungry!

Have you ever watched four in a bed? I love it when they either criticise or praise each others sausages 😂

It's not a treat, it's food. It's what my body wanted and needed at that point, so I ate it with gusto. I do not think the concept of treats is useful or healthy.

I think this lady puts it well.

She's absolutely spot on, dogs don't speak English or any other language 👍😂

Didn't you want protein? Or did you have a full english and extra bread?

I don't think I have ever eaten a whole slice of fried bread. Just not for me.

Yes I wanted protein too. Lots of it!! But I especially wanted fried bread and egg yolks. No idea why but I was craving it.

Thanks for posting video. Very educational 👍

Yup. Yolks were about 50% runny. Had to make sure I had some sausage left to mop it up.

Craving all the time is not how you describe a treat, it's how you describe an addiction. That's how people talk about tobacco or alcohol.

I think a day at the beach, or coffee with friends or a massage are treats. I enjoy them when they happen, and make an effort to make them happen, but I am not craving them all the time.
