I know it's not seasonal, but I painted this today to try to get to grips with painting trees. I think the word 'try' is paramount. I painted it using watercolour, stressed hessian, salt and gouache. Fun was had, of course. I would like to get yet further away from using 'proper' colours, so I might try this again sometime.

Hi BrentW ,
This is very beautiful and I love the background colors. It looks like a start to a sunset behind the tree branches. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I like your painting Brent. Thank you. 🙂
Fabulous BrentW.... as always. Beautiful palette. My favourite shades! 👍
Hi Brent this is a wonderful painting as you give thinks a magical touch I also love your choice of colours so thanks for posting this. Enjoy the weekend now. 😊
Thank you, Jerry. Did I tell you that I am attending a workshop by Ann Blockley next weekend? I am both excited and nervous, being at best a novice painter.
That sounds just you Brent and you are very modest as your paintings have a unique charm making them very attractive.
I hope that you enjoy the workshop and I look forward to seeing your next art work. 😊
Thank you. I am trying to be a little more daring with my colours as I go along.
Wow, that is lovely. Zest
