Sugar free gluten free bread.

Hi everyone,

As we have the sugar challenge by our friend Cooper27 and me wanting some fresh bread I made this loaf using honey as a starter for the yeast and am going to do some gluten free savoury bakes during the week.

I eat very little sugar as I cook everything from scratch and I don't drink fizzy pop or like sugary drinks so I think my main meals will be fine my treats will be savoury.

I also made some flat bread to have with salad later...🍅

The sugar free/gluten free bread sounds and looks really wonderful. I hope you enjoy it with the salad later today. :-)

So do I. My favorite homemade food is a few different desserts and main dishes that you can use for leftovers for a few days/once a week. We still have to do gluten free bread, but in the next few months.

You're welcome! :-)

Hey thanks I’m a coeliac Hidden so have to eat gluten free, we have lots of foodies who are gluten free for various reasons. 😊

Thank you Hidden that’s very nice of you. 😊

Looks delicious! We don't need to add sugar to bread to get great results 👍

Thank you Zendaya and this is so true. 😊

No gluten is in wheat rye and barley and not all coeliac can tolerate oats. So its a very restrictive diet.

I just bake hot in the oven Hidden 👍

Thats so professional Jerry, your bread is the best GF bread.

Sugar is bad for us, like you I do not have sugary drinks, or sugar in tea but as you know I am rather partical to a dessert, I have been cutting that back

😀

Hey thanks Debs that’s very kind of you. I do like my puddings but don’t like them overly sweet which far too many shop bought ones are. So good for you for cutting back. 😀

Agreed, a lot of the shop ones are too sweet - but the Vegan Almond Magnum are spot on

Hey if it makes you ill you gave to avoid it, it is hard if you want to eat out a lot but there are lots on alternatives in the shops these days. The main thing is if avoiding gluten men’s good health it’s well worth it. 😊

Lots of things apple crumbles are easier than pastry, really you have to learn wheat and gluten free versions of your favourite things. Then there's lots of puddings that are naturally gluten free like creme brûlée.
