Not much of a cook but had a go at making sauerkraut. Easy. Loads of vitamin C. Plus the thing we didn’t even know was a thing until recently, good gut bacteria. Google it you can make it with different veg. Add chilli, garlic if that’s your thing. Started using it as part of my 5 A Day. See what you think

I must do this again. Last year I made Apocalypse jars of everything and of course we didn't end up having the full apocylpse so I didn't end up eating them! How long would this keep I always feel afraid to eat my own preserves to be honest.
