I noticed my fiance during the whatsApp video call after her dinner and desert. I felt her like she is drugged or she had a booze. I noticed this same thing from 3-4 days at same time after her dinner and some desert. I asked her couple of times that whats wrong with her but her reply was always the same that she is totally okay. But what I felt the change in her was that her voice was trembling and her eyes were shaky. I was asking her some thing different and she was answering some thing else. What it could be? I saw some similar questions already, some one is saying that due to particular type of meal that person causes such symptoms and another one is saying due to excess desert that person faced it.

Hi Kingofking ,

Has your fiancé seen a doctor for the eye shaking? Does the symptoms happen before eating/eating delays? Sometimes, if a person delays meals/snacks, a person can have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

she may need to monitor her blood sugar levels, I get like that with some food, eg. cake - I just eat less of it and I'm OK. However, it's also a good idea to go to the doctor cx

I used to suffer from restless leg syndrome until I realised that it came on when my blood sugar was high. The syndrome usually affects people in the evenings or when they've just gone to bed, that's because small doses of sugar mount up so the y evening, the blood sugar is high. The problem is made worse because people tend to drink alcohol on the evening. High blood sugar triggers a release of insulin which forces all the cells in the body to consume blood sugar rather than ketones (from fat). It's this that cause the nerve cells to to randomly trigger so that you see unusual movements or sensations.

Lowering carbohydrate intake will reduce this as well as reducing weight gain, heart disease and risk of developing diabetes.
