How can I gain weight?
Hi mhamzikhan92
There's a section about gaining weight safely in the NHS information here:

I hope it's helpful to you.

Has your doctor said anything to you about needing to gain weight? When was your last appointment?
i was last met before corona dayz means in feb of 2020
Did you get a list of food to start your weight gain?
no my doctor just ask me to take healthy food and fruits and nothing much.
Do you have any powder to mix into milk/milkshakes/protein drinks?
powder means some kind of calcium mixture like horlicks?
The powder would be a protein powder that can be mixed into other foods/drinks to give you an extra amount of protein.
yes i use to take it when i was in the age of 10 to 14😊
Get a good exercise routine going. Press ups , squats, walking, running, (couch to 5 K?) and a regular weight lifting routine , but gently to start with. When the gyms reopen you can get stuck into circuit training and slowly but surely start to build muscle and fitness. Avoid sugary energy drinks and so called energy foods.
When the 'navvies' were building the canals in the last century it took about a year to get them up to the required levels of fitness, by which time they getting through 8 - 9,000 calories a day.
Why do you need to increase weight?
Sorry That’s a problem I wouldn’t mind having. You just have a Fast metabolism, see a doctor 😷🙏
Exercise! Eat many small meals--snack. Try drinking calories, like smoothies--it's easier to get more down.
And make sure you aren't secretly trying to stay skinny. Other than that, it's hard--just as hard as losing weight. I've been in both places, I know :o)
As Ianc2 said: you gain weight by exercising with weights, which builds muscle. There is no shortcut. Your appetite will respond by "asking" you to eat more. Focus on eating healthy foods: vegetables, meat, eggs, dairy. Fruit is neither essential nor particularly healthy (at least not as a substitute for the aforementioned items). It's depressing how little doctors know about nutrition.
If you merely want to get fat, 30% of the British population have managed that without even trying, but I wouldn't suggest that as a sensible goal
It shouldn't be difficult, you just need to get used to the idea of eating more; not skipping meals, adding an extra meal, larger portions, calorie (and nutrient)-dense foods.
Would need more information to make a specific recommendation. Height, weight, goals, lifestyle, current diet, etc.
Tips for Healthy Weight Gain:
Calories: Consume more calories than you burn.
Balanced Diet: Eat nutrient-rich foods, including proteins, healthy fats, and carbs.
Frequent Meals: Have regular meals and snacks.
Protein: Include lean proteins for muscle growth.
Strength Training: Do compound exercises to build muscle.
Healthy Fats: Add sources like nuts, avocados, and oils.
Avoid Empty Calories: Choose nutrient-dense foods.
Hydration: Stay hydrated for overall health.
Sleep: Get enough quality sleep.
Consult a dietitian or healthcare provider if needed.
