help me to gain weight
I dont know much about gaining weight for bulking up( if that what ur trying to do) but i got very skinny through ibs problem so i been trying to gain weight.
My husband is a triathlon maniac( lol) and he helped me to gain 6 lbs by eating little and often not just a brekkie , lunch and dinner.
So i would have loads of eggs on toast( brown wholemeal) then id have a protein bar and shake ( u can get ones to load carbs to actually have about 500-600 cals in one drink) then id have avacado on toast or chicken and quinoa or chicken salad. Then another shake or protein bar. Then a dinner of chicken and lots of veg.. then before bed another shake.
He said dont eat junk food it dont help u bulk up it just make u fat... and unhealthy but u must exercise to as u will just put on weight in all wrong places instead of making u fit.
Please consult with your doctor and a Nutritionist for a possible diet before you do anything to be on the safe side of things.
Some people have a high metabolic rate. I think some foods can help change that so research those.
If your doctor considers that you are healthy then you might have to just accept that you are naturally thin. It's happens. Please don't eat junk food though. Gaining weight through unhealthy food is ultimately going to make you flabby but not fit.
My son is 6'4" ( I don't know that in metres) with no excess flesh anywhere. He just accepts it and concentrates on being aa fit as he can. Cardiovascular, flexibility and endurance. Works for him.
Love who you are.

Do you have any IBS-like symptoms? Or suffer from excessive tiredness, brain fog, or weakness? Heart palpitations or rashes even?
If you have other symptoms, I think you should see your GP about why you can't gain weight, as you could have thyroid issues, anemia, coeliac disease, or something similar.
Some people have good metabolisms though, so you could just fall into that camp. If so, consider doing some weight training to build muscle mass. It takes time though, you'll not see results in a matter of weeks.
Maybe the advice here would help: artofmanliness.com/articles...
1-2kg gain is an excellent result for 4 months of an active weight-gain programme, and your weight is about right for your height.
Unfortunately, getting muscular is not nearly as easy as getting fat! Muscle represents a metabolic cost for your body: it doesn't want to carry more than it strictly needs. You've probably noticed that you've got noticeably stronger by weight training, but your visible muscle size is not much different.
What are you eating exactly? How's your bodyfat? If it's above 15%, the muscles you have will be hidden under a substantial layer of fat. Getting down towards 10% is much easier than packing on muscle mass, and will have a significantly better visual result.
