Do brazil nuts help with hypothyroidism?

I heard if you eat 1-2 brazil nuts a day you can control hypothyroidism. Is this true?

They are a source of selenium, so yes they will help support you thyroid as will other foods containing selenium like eggs, dairy meat, fish, shell fish and whole grains.

Thank you for your quick response. My TSH has increased significantly, so I am wondering if I can improve my nutrition to fix it instead of having my synthroid increased
