This grapefruit tree is amazing, unlike the tangerines,they keep good on the tree for 6 months, so no big glut & the juice is way better than the shops.

That’s a real torture because I take pills for my high pressure and I can’t eat grapefruits... but I love them so.❤️❤️❤️

I miss grapefruit. I can’t have it because of the anticonvulsant I take. If I have grapefruit, it acts like I took an overdose of my anticonvulsant.

A long, long time ago, I had terrible leg pain caused by statins, I threw the statins away and have eaten grapefruit instead for years, I love grapefruit 🙂

That’s just what I was going to say, told me & several of my friends that we should be on statins, blah blah blah

Came back to the states, told my doctor here & his reply, You don’t want to be taking them, let’s get your blood checked & I will contact you if there’s a problem, no call 7 years back!

I got to confess, I inherited it lol, it was the in-laws but I do have tangerines, a blood orange, lemon & several peach trees at our old place, which I check on every week

Wow, lemons have a hard time growing here in north Florida believe it or not, we do get occasional freezes at this time of year & the lemons are the tenderest

Yes we got kumquats, I’m growing a mango in a 50 gallon drum so I can bring it inside if we have a freeze, go 100 miles south & you can grow all kinds of stuff but not here

The lemon I have is a Meyer, it’s a cross & it’s actually flowering now, not bad for February hey, smells fantastic, actually got a citrus circle made up of 3 tangerines an orange & a miniola, also a peach circle
