Has anybody heard of taking a tablespoon of olive oil first thing in the morning for great benefits including improving your skin??

Olive oil is great for all sorts of things (obviously an important part of the Mediterranean diet) and in my family as always the go to method to help with constipation in particular. (2 tablespoonfuls always do the trick for me!!) My mum and grandma - avid users of olive oil - had beautiful soft skin so perhaps indeed it does help with that too. Use good quality olive oil preferably not blended with "other" oils and you can of course use it on salads etc. Thank you for your post - reminded me thatI haven't used it in a while! No, but when I lived in England I found that a tiny amount on your skin helps protect against the Artic winter weather. Almond oil, coconut oil, also good.
