New start January 1st

Hi there,

Having lost nearly 2 stones on the blood sugar diet 18 months ago, I've managed to put it back on again since I started working and having a very sedentary job. However, for the sake of my health, I'm starting afresh today and looking for moral support to get that weight off again. I haven't always been overweight and I believe I can get back to a healthier weight again. I know that low carbs work for me, I just need to watch the calories too. I've not exercised much in the last 12 months so I'm starting with at least 10 minutes brisk walking at least once a day. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Well done, every long journey starts with one tiny small step. I have begun today also, healthier eating . I have just committed to eating no chocolate, sweets or cakes in January. We can do this :)

Hi Pennybee, sounds like a good plan. Lets go for it. I've been out for my walk today already, which is a good thing as its now pouring down!
