Tea,
Peppermint or ginger, I’m pretty sure peppermint and ginger are different at some point, but for right now they are pretty much the same. I use both to detox my body if I feel bloated or too full after a meal. I’m not surprised it can help clear mucus and phlegm from the body as well.
Garlic
Garlic can be used as a natural expectorant, which can help with breaking down phlegm build-up.
Lemon
Tea with lemon, hot water with lemon or lemon slices with honey drizzled on top, are common home remedies that can help clear mucus and phlegm.
Clear Broth Soup
When I say clear I mean no milky substance, the worm fluid can cut down the mucus in the back of your throat. Warm fluids provide a soothing feeling, killing the mucus.
Fruits and vegetables
Fruits and Vegetables are rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants help support your body’s ability to stay healthy. Vitamin C, for example, has anti-inflammatory properties and may help open the airways, reduce wheezing and kill Mucus.
