I read about Harira, Moroccan red lentil soup made with curry spices including nutmeg and I've been adding a little nutmeg to some spicy dishes so tonight as I hadn't been home long I made this with organic onion organic mushrooms and a few baby tomatoes cooked lightly in olive oil to soften then I added a tin of organic green lentils with some stock with chilli ginger cumin coriander turmeric black pepper nutmeg with a desert spoon of chick pea flour and cold water then added more hot water. I roughly blended half the mix in my food processor and let it cook gently in a saucepan.
I enjoyed it and again it was easy and nutritious, it's gluten free and plant based as well.
