I have read a few articles about this and basically its what we used to call switching off by disengaging from external stimuli.
I'm fascinated that you can now get phone apps to help with dopamine fasting. My phone has an off switch and I can switch the ring tone off so I don't need an app.

I think this is interesting as we have the poll on switching off and there isn't a dopamine fasting option...
