Hi everyone!

My name's Andrew. I've had anxiety and depression for some time. I'd like to work on that, healthy eating, and my overall fitness and health.

I figured joining a group of others with similar goals would help the process πŸ™‚

I'm in the same boat. I am trying to eat better. I don't like cooking so it is very challenging to fix food for myself. I keep trying!

What foods do you like to eat? Are you allergic or have any food intolerances?, what foods do you know of that could boost your mental health and well-being?.

I like most all foods but prefer to eat more vegetarian. I don't eat a ton of processed foods or candy. No allergies. Looking for super simple, easy recipes. I feel like I could be eating a bigger variety of veggies. Not sure of what to eat for my mental health. Would like to incorporate more fermented foods if possible.

Do you eat alot of fish as the omega 3is really good for you along with nuts, seeds, whole grains, foods that contain healthy fats, berries, dark green veggies, if you eat most meals that include a rainbow 🌈 of veggies and fruit with benefit you.

I do eat fish although not lots. I could eat a bit more. I'm going to try to have more of a rainbow of veggies whenever possible, trying to have good variety, as well as a good variety of grains. Still have to try some of these recipes from above.

Thanks, Never ever thought my prostate cancer and now my Lymph node cancer and who knows where else cancer cells thrive on different foods. Let alone Testosterone fluids. That did not seem right, fluids for testosterone.

Yeh, My T levels are down, down, since 1st re-treatment Lupron D Sept 10th 61 days back. 10.9ng/dL from 294.

Time for more research. I know dairy is a feeding frenzy for our metabolism but is there a good healthy dairy food, like Yogurt???

See if NON-dairy yogurt is acceptable/ permissible, depotdoug.

Here’s more cancer perspective from T. Colin Campbell for research πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ πŸ”Ž : healthunlocked.com/healthye... , healthunlocked.com/healthye...

[Influencing gene 🧬 expression is absolutely fascinating. 😯 . . . Turning genes β€˜on & off’ by our actions/ behaviours/ habits (avoiding all animal products) is promising & holds out realistic hope for those of us trying to improve our QoL (Quality of Life) in whatever time remains. πŸ‘πŸ‘ ]

Aside: Connecting back to related Anxiety topic. It seems logical πŸ€” 🧠 that once we can better manage our dis-ease(s), that in itself goes a long way towards alleviating anxiety (& depression). πŸ‘πŸ‘

Kindly continue researching πŸ”Ž πŸ“š πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» , depotdoug, & let us know how you make out.

Hi Kraydude, how are you doing?

I can help with motivating you if you need some motivation. We're all a friendly bunch here and helpful.

Thanks! I'm not sure quite what I need though. I guess I'm having trouble finding enough good healthy, probably vegetarian heavy recipes. I try to find simple ones but even those seem complicated and time consuming. It would just be nice to have a bunch of go to's. My girlfriend is hopefully and me a few.
