Hi Hidden might be worth speaking to your treatment team about this, as we aren't qualified to give advice specific to your condition, and you may need some specific supplements or have foods you need to avoid. Can you ask for a dietician referral? But in general terms to support your body through tough treatment you want to maximise the nutrients you can get, so avoid fast/junk foods and eat as fresh foods as possible or foods frozen in their best condition. Veggies and fruits will give you some important vitamins minerals and fibre, but a wide variety of protein foods are useful for repair. If you need to put weight on, natural fats may be your friend as they will add calories without adding huge volume. Meat and fish (don’t know which to suggest as I’m vegetarian, but the less processed the more nutrients it will contain), eggs, full fat dairy, nuts, nut butters, seeds, avocados. The more variety you eat, the more nutrients you will take in.
Hope all goes well with your treatment 🤞
Hi Hidden firstly welcome to HE we are a friendly forum and for all things healthy eating so will help you with recipes and meals but we need to know what is best for you so I agree with Fran182716 that you need to get professional dietary advice tailored to your needs first.
I feel for you and wish you well with your treatment and do please let us know if we can help as you will get lots of support as you're amongst friends on here.
I saw your other post and Luna looks a wonderful cat and very laid back so great company.
Jerry 😊
Thanks 😊
Hello and welcome again
What foods do you currently eat?
A lot of us bake our own bread on here if you are interested, maybe you could have a crack at it...
Hi there. Dietician. They’re the best placed. But don’t be shy in getting one that knows their stuff. Their experience etc.
Hi and welcome to the group, Hidden .
As Hidden and Fran182716 said, please have a talk with your doctor about what your diet plan can be for you before you change anything. No one wants anyone getting sick.
Maybe give Macmillan a call, when I was treated for cancer in 2013 they had a free cookbook available via the website, sending love and hugs for your treatment to go well, and for you to make a good recovery xxxxx
Hi Jennymary
This is a great suggestion, and I've just popped back with a link to the MacMillan Recipes website, which also has the contact number in it as well:
macmillan.org.uk/informatio...
Hope that's helpful Hidden - there look like some nice recipes there as well.

Hi Betty,
When I'd want through chemo, and radio for breast cancer I drank sustagen hospital formula, either vanilla or chocolate every day, I believe it did help me keep my weight up, and feel better. Plenty of fresh air, and exercise, eating well, fresh fruits and veggies, and just being extra kind to yourself. Hang in there , there is a light at the end of the tunnel, sending love.
xxxx
She didn't say no veggies, she said not all veggies..

Remembered a young woman ‘cancer survivor/ thriver’ named Kris Carr ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kri... , kriscarr.com/ ).
Don’t know if you’ve already heard of her, bettyx156? 🤔
She has a different type of cancer [Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epith... )] but has a thriver’s attitude & approach toward managing disease that might be of interest/ inspiration?
