I made a stir fry last night Jerry suggested some spices and it was totally yummy I have to say had a little cheat Iceland do a powdered curry sauce just add water it tastes just like you get in a Chinese restaurant so today I had the leftovers but added a portion of chips and more curry sauce it was delicious but not exactly on the diet plan I’ve also ate two small chocolate bars from Aldi although I did resist the pork pies 😀 I tell myself don’t eat it but my arms just throw it at my mouth ☹️ But seriously how can I stop this !!!! Everyday is like today is the day I’m going to eat healthy then oops how do you all get your will power or determination ? HELP 😬

Have you tried planning your days food and using an app like my fitness pal ? It can help make sure you are eating enough of the right things so you don’t feel hungry and are tempted to snack on the wrong things. Shopping day is important too, if you don’t buy those things you can’t eat them! x
Hi caz28 I don’t really plan it’s a case of whatever I feel like on the day and I’m so rubbish at tech I’ve tried fitness pal but don’t really know how to use it even on here I get confused where to weigh in takes me ages to figure it out also on a budget so hard sometimes to plan I try go with offers I am an emotional eater which doesn’t help and also in the peri menopause so craving sugar i need a food bodyguard 😀 perhaps I’m just making excuses and need to give myself a good talking to 😀
I find the most effective way for me to beat sugar cravings is to fill the house with fruit.I agree don't buy stuff as for me one bar of chocolate always ends up as half a dozen.Having said that the most important thing is to remind ourselves why we have embarked on our weight loss journey on a regular basis .Good luck, you can do it.
Hi Grannysqua at least you resisted the pork pies so well done for that, what you have to do is change your relationship with food so you don't have these battles with yourself.

Hi thank you Sunday’s I have as a day off the diet as at church and we have lunch so not always in control of the food although when I got home I did resist a few things so all good I’m planning on a good day tomorrow I love all the support and advise given on here it’s so fantastic I hope your having a great day 😀
Hope your week gets off to a good start and you can just put any slips over the weekend behind you. For me, planning, shopping and cooking are the absolute musts. Only buying the sweet treats that are 'affordable' within my eating plan and making sure I have some diet ice cream available for extra sweet treats - Halo is my favourite.
