After 30 years of every possible diet which always had short term results now just decided to follow healthy eating and exercise (doing the couch to 5k app). Watching the carbs cutting down on red meat. Hardest thing is my sugar addiction which I realise now struggled with for a long time. Not getting obsessed with calories but cooking from scratch with no processed food. Hoping that the combination of healthy eating and exercise will now become a way of life. Really like the community and all the posts, advice etc.

Well good luck with your new eating regime and you're in great company on here for all things healthy eating. You are not alone in having a sugar addiction, its weaning yourself off these foods and then they will taste sickly sweet. If you are over weight getting a sugar rush isn't a good idea either. So you have lots of motivation to eat well.
So good luck and welcome to our friendly foodie forum. π
Sounds like a good plan ... I believe the art to dieting is keeping your sugar levels even, I'm no expert ... so could be wrong ... anyway, good luck with your plan
Thank you for the reply. I have got to change years of bad eating habits and I know it will not be easy but I am very positive just sad that I wasted so many years with the diet I had. The posts are very supportive of each other which is nice.
