I personally think we need to use sugar taxes to subsidise fruit and veg production. Although sometimes I am surprised how cheap veg can be - you have to wonder how anyone makes any money on a 4p carrot.
90% of the problems in agriculture and nutrition are caused by perverse financial incentives. Stop the subsidy and inefficient, cruel, and pointless farming practices will disappear.
